SerenSat

Our SerenSat CubeSat is aiming to be the first CubeSat to reach space that will be 100% designed and built in Wales. As the first CubeSat designed and built entirely in Wales prepares for its odyssey, it symbolises our nation's entry into the frontier of space exploration. With each meticulously assembled component, Wales inches closer to joining the ranks of countries with a presence in space. SerenSat is a testament to Welsh ambition, innovation, and the collective dream of becoming a space-faring nation on the global stage.

LUNAR FALCON

Lunar Falcon represents the cutting edge of space exploration technology. Our 8U CubeSat, is equipped with an advanced hall-effect ion thruster and is set to embark on a historic mission to orbit the moon. The inclusion of an ion thruster on Lunar Falcon marks a significant leap in the capabilities of CubeSats. Unlike traditional chemical propulsion, the ion thruster offers efficient and continuous thrust, allowing the CubeSat to make precise maneuvers and extend its mission lifespan. This technology is poised to revolutionise small satellite missions, enabling them to venture farther into space and undertake complex orbital operations.

MARS SOLAR HAWK

Mars Solar Hawk is our 3U CubeSat that serves as an experimental mission platform for testing the combination of Solar Sailing and hall-effect ion propulsion technologies for transfer to Mars in 60 days. It uses solar sail and ion propulsion technology to demonstrate the viability of propellantless acceleration and deceleration for future faster deep space exploration missions. Our Mars Solar Hawk mission is an important step towards advancing our capabilities in deep space exploration and propulsion, as it aims to evaluate the performance and reliability of hybrid ion-powered and solar sailing systems.

Phoenix QuantumSat

The Phoenix Quantumsat mission aims to revolutionise mineral exploration through advanced quantum sensing technology. By deploying a hexagonal satellite equipped with state-of-the-art quantum sensors, we provide unprecedented accuracy in detecting and mapping mineral resources from space. This mission not only enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of mineral exploration but also paves the way for innovative applications of quantum technology in space exploration.
